Red heart over blue medical masks

Thank You!

During these unprecedented times, we have been so appreciative of the generosity within our community to support the frontline staff at EvergreenHealth.

By providing nourishment during the COVID-19 outbreak, our staff felt the strength and encouragement from the community to deliver their best care against an unexpected pandemic.

Meals & snacks

We are taking a pause on accepting and organizing meal donations for the hospital. We've been humbled by the outpouring of support from local restaurants and community members who’ve provided incredible meals to both day and night shift staff almost every day since COVID-19 first appeared at EvergreenHealth.

We feel that it is time to take a step back and encourage our partners to reach out to other essential community organizations to provide meals to support frontline staff, the children of essential workers, and families in need of meal assistance.

A special ‘Thank You’ to restaurants, donors and organizations!

PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)

We are gratefully accepting your thoughtful donations of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) for use by our care providers. To ensure the safety of everyone, we ask that boxes and bags are unopened. Items needed most include:

  • N95 masks
  • Nitrile gloves (all sizes, any color)
  • Face shields
  • Anti-fog goggles
  • Sanitizing Clorox wipes

With gratitude, EvergreenHealth Foundation accepts these donations through convenient curbside drop-off delivery.

Please contact the EvergreenHealth Foundation office directly at 425-899-1900 and a staff member will coordinate a time to collect your donations.

We are unable to accept supplies at the hospital; we will ensure your donations are delivered.

Our staff and patients say thank you for your generosity.

Sewing Masks

Since the early days of COVID-19 in March, community members and staff people have spent countless hours at their sewing machines to produce more than 38,000 masks, sterilized and ready for use by our clinical staff in the ORs, Cath Lab and other procedural areas. We must say it again: more than 38,000 masks!

At the end of July, we bade a fond farewell to our volunteers and released them from “mask duty” so that they could resume their own work and lives. The masks on hand, lovingly and expertly sewn, will supplement our manufactured mask inventory in readiness for a future COVID surge or supply shortage.

Words can’t express our gratitude for these and all our amazing volunteers – for their active support of the health and well-being of our neighbors. Together, we are caring for our community.
