EvergreenHealth Among Top Hospital Systems Nationally for Patient Outcomes, Value of Care
The Lown Institute recognized EvergreenHealth in multiple categories, including Value of Care, Patient Outcomes and Patient Satisfaction.
KIRKLAND, WA — EvergreenHealth has received several recognitions, including "A" Grades in Value of Care, Patient Outcomes and Patient Satisfaction, according to the Lown Institute's latest Hospital Index for Social Responsibility. Additionally, the hospital system's two hospital campuses in Kirkland and Monroe earned multiple additional recognitions areas including Patient Safety, Clinical Outcomes and Pay Equity.
Overall, EvergreenHealth was named Top 10 in the nation for Avoiding Overuse. EvergreenHealth Medical Center was ranked the best in the state for Patient Outcomes and among the top five hospitals in the state for Value of Care, Patient Safety, Patient Satisfaction and Avoiding Overuse. EvergreenHealth Monroe was ranked among the top five in the state for Pay Equity.

The Lown Institute Hospital Index uses publicly available data to evaluate more than 3,600 hospitals and more than 300 health systems across all 50 states. It is focused on hospital and system social responsibility, shining a light on those that provide exceptional, high-value patient care to everyone in their communities. Performance is assessed across more than 50 individual metrics spanning the categories of health outcomes, value, and equity.
