EvergreenHealth Monroe Appoints Dr. Scott Stuart as New Chief Medical and Quality Officer
Dr. Stuart brings years of hospitalist and internal medicine expertise to the role.

MONROE, Wash. — EvergreenHealth Monroe is pleased to announce Scott Stuart, MD, as its new Chief Medical and Quality Officer, as of Dec. 7, 2025. Dr. Stuart first joined EvergreenHealth as a hospitalist in 2005. In this new role, Stuart will oversee clinical operations at EvergreenHealth Monroe, including enhancing patient safety and quality of care, and planning strategies for further growth to meet changing community needs.

Stuart is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency and chief residency in internal medicine. As a hospitalist at EvergreenHealth Medical Center in Kirkland for the last 20 years, he has cared for patients directly, consulted on surgical cases, assisted with critical care patients and worked closely with EvergreenHealth Hospice Care. Stuart has also collaborated with his colleagues to help lead multiple hospital programs.
