EvergreenHealth Expands Neurosciences Services to Monroe
The expansion gives EvergreenHealth Neurosciences locations in both Monroe and Kirkland.
MONROE, Wash. – EvergreenHealth is expanding its neurosciences services to a new practice at the hospital system's location in Monroe. The new neurosciences location will begin seeing patients on Monday, Nov. 3.
Since its inception in 1972, the mission of EvergreenHealth has been to ensure that its community has access to compassionate, lifesaving care as the hospital system continues to grow to meet the region's needs. This increase in access to patient-centered care is a continuation of that mission, and it will benefit patients in the community.
Patients living in the Monroe area who require care for movement disorders, headache, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological conditions will now be able to access all the care resources they need in a more convenient location. Residents who prefer to see their providers at the hospital system's Kirkland campus may continue to do so.
"We are grateful to the leadership and staff at EvergreenHealth Monroe for welcoming our neuroscience team," said EvergreenHealth Medical Director of Neurology Dr. Daniel Burdick, MD, FAAN. "And we look forward to partnering with the Monroe community to deliver expert, compassionate care for a wide range of neurological conditions, now closer to where our patients live and work."
EvergreenHealth Neurosciences joins the existing state-of-the-art emergency department, advanced specialty practices, surgical services, diagnostic imaging and other care options already available at EvergreenHealth Monroe.
