EvergreenHealth Obstetrics & Gynecology Care Welcomes Harlie Bourdo-Brown, MCHS, PA-C

Kirkland, Wash. – EvergreenHealth Obstetrics & Gynecology Care recently welcomed Harlie Bourdo-Brown, MCHS, PA-C, to its team of skilled providers in Kirkland.

Bourdo-Brown is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and specializes in routine gynecologic care, infertility evaluations and pre- and postnatal care, and performs a number of gynecologic procedures, such as pap smears, IUD insertion and removal and cervical biopsies. She partners with women at any stage of life and speaks both Spanish and English.

"Harlie is a welcome addition to our team of experienced and compassionate OB/GYN care providers," said Chris Bredeson, chief operating officer at EvergreenHealth. "She brings a wide range of expertise and is passionate about providing safe care and service, which reinforces our values and our shared commitment to the community."

Bourdo-Brown's goal as a health care provider is to offer her patients a space of respect, comfort and kindness so they may ask questions and make confident decisions about their care. According to her, she's truly passionate about women's health rights, preventive medicine with a holistic approach and education. Bourdo-Brown also enjoys partnering with her patients so they can make the best decisions for their body.
She originally hails from a small town in Michigan, and says she discovered her love for medicine and patient care while volunteering in the Dominican Republic. She finds that serving others during memorable parts of their lives gives her a sense of purpose.

Bourdo-Brown earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and went on to pursue a master's degree in clinical health sciences at the University of Washington. She's also held a variety of internships in emergency medicine, pediatrics, general surgery and psychiatry.

When she isn't caring for patients at EvergreenHealth, Bourdo-Brown regularly volunteers with organizations such as the King County Clinic and Washington Trails Association. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and golden retriever, hiking, road tripping, trying new restaurants and spending time at home.
