EvergreenHealth Sport and Spine Care Welcomes Bryce Kirkman, DO

Kirkland, Wash. – EvergreenHealth recently welcomed Bryce Kirkman, DO, to its team of skilled providers in its Kirkland and Monroe Sport and Spine Care practice.

Dr. Kirkman is an EvergreenHealth fellowship-trained physician and brings experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal and spine injuries with nonoperative strategies. Dr. Kirkman also utilizes ultrasound and fluoroscopy to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions. He is certified in the use of botulinum toxin injections in the treatment of muscle spasticity and migraines, as well.

“We are eager to have Dr. Kirkman join our team of skilled and compassionate physicians on the Sport and Spine Care team following his fellowship here at the health system,” said Chris Bredeson, chief operating officer at EvergreenHealth. “His demonstrated wealth of knowledge regarding musculoskeletal and spine injuries, nonoperative ways to treat conditions and dedication to his patients will serve as a valuable resource to our community.”

Dr. Kirkman’s care philosophy is centered around his passion to provide patients with easy-to-understand education about their diagnosis and possible treatment options. Dr. Kirkman enjoys collaborating with and empowering his patients to make the best decisions regarding their individualized health care needs.

As a multi-sport athlete growing up and now a weekend warrior, Dr. Kirkman was inspired to pursue medicine because of his amazement with the human body. According to Dr. Kirkman, he feels fortunate to have found a career that helps people improve their quality of life by regaining mobility and function.

Dr. Kirkman attended medical school at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona and completed his internship and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio, where he was named chief resident. He recently completed his interventional sports and spine fellowship at EvergreenHealth here in Kirkland, Washington.

Outside of EvergreenHealth, Dr. Kirkman enjoys hiking, golf, swimming and quoting his favorite movies. He, his wife and their five children are also actively involved in their local church community and regularly volunteer at local food banks.
