Kirkland, Wash. – EvergreenHealth Spine and Neurosurgical Center recently welcomed Samira Pardakhtim, DNP, ARNP to its team in Kirkland, Washington.

Pardakhtim is an advanced registered nurse practitioner and holds her doctorate in nursing practice. She brings a wealth of knowledge from the fields of nursing and spine care to the health system, including treating specific conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, essential tremors and spinal cord injuries.

Pardakhtim is skilled in a host of spinal and neurosurgical procedures, but specializes in intrathecal baclofen pump refills and programming, and deep brain stimulation to treat a number of different conditions.

“As a skilled, bilingual practitioner, Samira brings exceptional clinical expertise and specialized knowledge in spine and neurology. The patients we serve will benefit with her as part of the Spine and Neurosurgical Care team, and we’re thrilled to welcome her onboard,” said Aileen Mickey, MD, FCCP, chief administrative officer of EvergreenHealth Medical Group.

Although Pardakhtim has cared for patients of all ages since 2014, her passion for health care began long before the start of her career as a nurse practitioner. According to Pardakhtim, she was attracted to the medical field after her grandmother passed away due to inadequate medical care.

Pardakhtim believes in making all patient experiences as smooth and comfortable as possible. Her philosophy of care is rooted in her passion to treat all patients with kindness and respect, and to serve as an educator to her patients. She hopes that by providing patients with the most up-to-date information, they can make the best decisions for their specific health needs.

Originally from Iran, Pardakhtim speaks both Farsi and English. She received her Doctor of Nursing, Master of Science in nursing practice and Advanced Nurse Practitioner degree from Washington State University in Spokane, Wash. When she’s not treating patients, Pardakhtim enjoys gardening, walking and biking. She’s also a florist and enjoys creating flower arrangements in her spare time.
