EvergreenHealth Primary Care Monroe Welcomes Raksha Nepal, MD
Monroe, Wash. – EvergreenHealth recently welcomed Raksha Nepal, MD, to its team of dedicated primary care physicians and providers at its EvergreenHealth Primary Care practice in Monroe.
Dr. Nepal specializes in internal medicine and has experience caring for patients with a wide variety of chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, kidney disease, neuropathy and anxiety. She works with patients who speak English, Nepali or Hindi to form individualized health care treatment plans.
“It’s a pleasure to have Dr. Nepal join our primary care team in Monroe,” said Aileen Mickey, MD, FCCP, chief medical officer of EvergreenHealth Medical Group. “Her passion for connecting with patients to understand and compassionately care for their individual needs shines through in all of her work. Dr. Nepal is passionate about partnering with her patients and approaching their health and wellness needs holistically. She prides herself on collaborating with each patient directly to determine a solution-oriented care plan that meets their lifestyle needs and wishes. According to Dr. Nepal, she believes in finding solutions that naturally integrate into her patients’ unique lives and cultural beliefs. In doing so, she believes this approach helps them be most successful in their health journey.
Dr. Nepal graduated from Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital in Nepal, before completing her residency as a hospitalist at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Aside from caring for patients, Dr. Nepal is actively involved in the global medical community. She is part of the Nepal Medical Council and the Nepal Medical Association. In addition, Dr. Nepal and her husband, an interventional cardiology, serve populations through medical relief camps in Nepal.
In her free time, Dr. Nepal is passionate about music, dance and the outdoors. She is looking forward to enjoying hiking and outdoor activities in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and their two children.
