EvergreenHealth Primary Care Lakeshore Totem Lake Welcomes Adesh Vohora, MD, MHA
Kirkland, Wash. – EvergreenHealth Primary Care Lakeshore Totem Lake in Kirkland recently welcomed Adesh Vohora, MD, MHA, to its team of skilled family medicine physicians.
Dr. Vohora is board certified in family medicine and comes to EvergreenHealth with a breadth of knowledge in hypertension, diabetes, depression, arthritis, skin conditions and back pain. He also performs a number of in-office primary care-related procedures, including skin biopsies, cyst incisions and drainage and knee corticosteroid injections.
“Dr. Vohora’s breadth of knowledge in family medicine and passion for providing patients with high-quality, integral care at every stage of their lives, will serve as a valuable resource to patients and families in our community. Dr. Vohora believes that communication is one of the most important components when building a strong and healthy partnership between patients and their physicians. He takes pride in promoting a comfortable and trustworthy environment so he can best connect with patients to understand their health care needs. In addition, Dr. Vohora enjoys learning from his patients as much as they learn from him, and making decisions to improve his patients’ overall health.
Born and raised in British Columbia, Canada, Dr. Vohora completed his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Northern British Columbia. He then went on to Saint James School of Medicine in Park Ridge, Illinois where he received his doctorate in medicine. To pursue his understanding of medicine and the health care system, Dr. Vohora received his Master of Healthcare Administration and Management from Colorado State University before completing his residency at the Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Throughout his educational career, Dr. Vohora was recognized with multiple awards, including the resident award from the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors and North American Primary Care Research Group. He was also named chief resident at Saint Vincent Hospital.
Outside of caring for patients, Dr. Vohora, his wife, daughter and their Boston terrier enjoy staying active, exploring new cuisine, traveling and experiencing a variety of cultures. In addition, he enjoys playing recreational sports and being involved in endurance activities, such as high intensity interval training, running and golf.
