Kirkland, Wash. – EvergreenHealth Primary Care, Kenmore recently welcomed Brandon Wei, DO, to its team of family medicine physicians.

Dr. Wei is board-certified in family medicine and partners with patients who speak English or Cantonese. He brings a wealth of knowledge in sports medicine, dislocations, stress fractures, allergies, pain and diabetes to the Kenmore practice. He also performs a variety of primary care-related procedures, including joint injections, sports physicals, wound care and birth control insertions and removals.

“We are glad have Dr. Wei join our team of primary care physicians in Kenmore,” said Chris Bredeson, chief operating officer at EvergreenHealth. “His demonstrated knowledge of family medicine, sports medicine and his passion for treating patients holistically at every stage of life, will help us to further our mission to enrich the lives of those we serve.”

According to Dr. Wei, his love of playing tennis throughout his childhood and college inspired and motivated him to become a primary care sports medicine physician. Today, Dr. Wei’s philosophy of care is rooted in his desire to treat patients as a whole person. He’s specifically passionate about helping his patients maintain their ability to stay active and participate in their favorite activities. In his practice, Dr. Wei prides himself on educating and promoting a healthy and wholesome lifestyle for his patients, while advocating for their health and well-being.

Hailing from the Northwest, Dr. Wei attended medical school at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, Washington. Next, he completed his residency in family medicine at the University of North Carolina Southeastern before completing his fellowship in sports medicine at Campbell University in North Carolina.

Outside of patient care, Dr. Wei and his wife enjoy playing tennis. Dr. Wei is looking forward to becoming more involved with local sports teams, where he can assist with his knowledge of primary care and sports medicine.
