EvergreenHealth Neurology Welcomes Clifton Phillips, PA-C
Kirkland, Wash. – EvergreenHealth Neurology recently welcomed Clifton Phillips, PA-C, to its team in Kirkland, Washington.
Phillips is a board-certified physician assistant and specializes in acute surgery care. He’s been serving adult patients since 2018 and has already assisted in over 1,000 acute cases ranging from incision and debridement to open abdominal procedures.
“As a skilled practitioner, Clifton brings exceptional clinical expertise and specialized knowledge in neurology and acute surgery care. The patients we serve will benefit with him as part of the neurology team, and we’re thrilled to welcome him onboard,” said Chris Bredeson, chief operating officer at EvergreenHealth.
According to Phillips, he chose to pursue medicine as his career because of his passion to advocate for his patients and their health care needs. When it comes to care, Phillips takes a patient-centered approach by partnering with his patients as a unified team. He assists his patients by providing them with education and options so they can make the best-informed decision for their individualized care.
Originally from St. Louis, Phillips came to the Pacific Northwest when he attended the University of Washington to become a physician assistant. Prior to pursuing his doctorate at UW Medicine, he served as a senior medic in the U.S. Army.
Outside of patient care, Clifton leads an active lifestyle where he frequently hikes, bikes, plays various sports and lifts weights. In addition, he spends a lot of time with his family doing indoor and outdoor activities and is passionate about coaching his son’s baseball team.
