EvergreenHealth Neurological Care Welcomes Jennifer Witt, MD

Kirkland, Wash. – EvergreenHealth recently welcomed neurologist Jennifer Witt, MD, to its team of skilled providers.

Witt is a board-certified and fellowship-trained neurologist who specializes in treating Parkinson’s Disease, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, essential tremors, blepharospasm, along with a host of other movement disorders. Dr. Witt also focuses on various movement-related procedures, specifically deep brain stimulation.

“Dr. Witt is a welcomed addition to our team of highly skilled and compassionate neurologists,” said Aileen Mickey, MD, FCCP, chief administrative officer of EvergreenHealth Medical Group. “Her expertise and passion for providing the best possible neurology care reinforces our commitment to excellence for our community. We’re so thrilled to have her onboard.”

Movement disorders are commonly chronic diagnoses, so Dr. Witt views herself as a guide on each patient’s unique health journey. When meeting with patients, her goals are to understand their story and priorities, provide educational information and utilize the best available resources that meet her patient’s dynamic needs.

“I deeply cherish the partnership with my patients and their loved ones, and I strive to approach all of our interactions with respect and honesty,” Dr. Witt shared. “I am continually inspired by my patients and their health journeys every day.”

Dr. Witt attended medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Soon after, she completed her internship at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville, Tennessee, before completing her residency at the University of California Davis Medical Center in neurology in Sacramento, California. Finally, Dr. Witt completed her fellowship at the University of California San Francisco in movement disorders in San Francisco, California.

Outside of the health system, she enjoys jogging with friends, camping with her husband and two kids, skiing and knitting.
