EvergreenHealth Internal Medicine + Primary Care Welcomes Sahar Khalaj, DO
Kirkland, Wash. – EvergreenHealth recently welcomed Sahar Khalaj, DO, to its team at EvergreenHealth Internal Medicine + Primary Care in Kirkland, Washington.
Dr. Khalaj speaks both Farsi and English and specializes in providing acute, chronic and wellness care for adult patients. She partners with individuals to help them manage chronic diseases, while also helping patients with preventive medicine. She also performs a variety of internal medicine-related procedures, including screenings and necessary internal tests.

Dr. Khalaj enjoys establishing close partnerships with each of her patients so they can make educated, proactive decisions about their mental and physical health. According to Dr. Khalaj, her goal is to advocate for her patients to help prevent chronic diseases throughout their lives.
Dr. Khalaj is originally from Iran and moved to the United States in her early twenties because she loved the outdoors and diversity of Washington state. She attended medical school at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, Washington. She recently completed her residency in internal medicine at Skagit Regional Health in Mt. Vernon, Washington.
Outside of the health system, Dr. Khalaj enjoys hiking with her husband and their four-year-old son and teaching her son how to garden.
