EvergreenHealth Voted “Best Medical Center” in Annual “Best of Kirkland” Awards
The health system was recognized by readers of Kirkland Reporter
Kirkland, Wash.— EvergreenHealth was recently named the “Best Medical Center” by the Kirkland Reporter in the publication’s annual Best of Kirkland Awards. Readers from around the region voted in a variety of categories to celebrate their favorite Kirkland-based organizations in 2020.
Kirkland Reporter asked readers to vote for the best of the best in Kirkland across 50 categories including restaurants, health care, retail and more. Thousands of readers voted in this year’s awards to support the organizations that make Kirkland, Washington, a great place to live, work and play.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support our community has generously shown us over the past 48 years, which has been especially appreciated over the past several months,” said Jeff Tomlin, MD, EvergreenHealth CEO. “As our mission guides us in providing high-quality, safe care to our patients and families, it is a privilege and an honor to care for those we serve every day and we are humbled to be recognized with this honor.”
Voting for this year’s Best of Kirkland Awards kicked off in March but was paused in April due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When voting reopened, Kirkland community members overwhelmingly responded with their votes to continue showing their support for the business and organizations they love.
In addition to being named “Best Medical Center” by Kirkland Reporter and many other awards, EvergreenHealth has also been recognized as one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals in 2020 by Healthgrades, and was also named among the top hospitals in Washington state by U.S. News and World Report.
