While in Utah, LaPlante also managed an urgent care clinic and obtained licensure as a durable medical equipment provider.
LaPlante holds a Bachelor of Science in health care services and a master’s in health care administration from the University of Phoenix. She lives in Monroe and is an engaged member of the community, serving on the Snohomish County YMCA board, as well as the Snohomish County Leadership Council for the American Cancer Society.
