It’s important to familiarize yourself with product recalls for your baby's safety.
If you register your baby purchases (especially “big ticket” items) with the manufacturer, you will likely be directly notified of any recalls.
But if you forget (or simply don’t want to), there are other resources available.
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission is an excellent resource for recalls of all kinds of products.
We recommend being vigilant about checking often as it lists products from newest on recall to oldest.
It also offers a searchable database.
SafeKids.org provides a comprehensive month-by-month listing of product recalls.
Bonus: you can sign up to receive product recalls via email.
