Information For Referring Providers
Why should I refer my patients to an EvergreenHealth Urology & Urogynecology Care physical therapist?
Athena Physical Therapy is now part of EvergreenHealth Urology & Urogynecology Care, bringing leading-edge treatment for pelvic health issues to the women of our community and beyond.
Our physical therapist is licensed to practice the full spectrum of physical therapy services and has the advanced skills to create a rehabilitation program that is personally tailored to meet the needs of each client.
We keep you updated on your patient’s progress, because we believe communicating with referring providers allows for optimal results. We send our evaluations, monthly progress notes and always call if we have any concerns.
We have over 45 years combined experience with special expertise in women’s pelvic floor physical therapy.
We are recognized as thought leaders and experts in advanced pelvic physical therapy rehabilitation and are invited speakers at continuing education events for physicians, nurses and physical therapists.
All therapists are licensed to practice the full spectrum of physical therapy and have the advanced skills to tailor a rehabilitation program that is personally tailored to meet the needs of each client.
We don’t employ PT aides; your patient will see the same physical therapist for their entire treatment.
All appointments are a full hour.
Your patient’s treatments take place in private rooms, not in an open gym.
We are an integral part of the clinical research programs that look for new treatment modalities to improve women’s pelvic health. Our programs are based on the latest medical evidence and our clients have the opportunity to participate in cutting edge research and improve the lives of women.
In addition to pelvic floor rehabilitation, we also have programs for women with vestibular disorders, TMJ dysfunction and various other orthopedic conditions. We also can help women recovering from breast cancer surgeries including reconstruction.
Our clients are discharged with avenues to continue with exercising/healthy lifestyle options and we invite them back for events that are both fun and educational.
