Recommended Health Products for International Travel
While most people worry about infectious diseases while traveling abroad, most of the problems you'll likely encounter are those that you bring with you.
We advise all travelers to take these items with you:
- Insect repellent
- Sunscreen
- Small first aid kit
- Any medications you take in their original containers
- Common items such as acetaminophen, ibuprofen and first aid creams, which can be difficult to find when traveling
If You Come Home and Aren't Feeling Well
We tend to bring more than souvenirs home with us—such as respiratory infections or gastrointestinal issues.
If you aren't getting better, see your doctor and be sure to tell them where you've been traveling, because that changes the nature of the testing that will be done to determine the problem and the best treatment.
