Preparing for Your Surgery
If you and your doctor decide that day surgery is the best option for you, your doctor’s office will schedule a surgery time with EvergreenHealth Surgery Care – Tan.
A pre-admission nurse will contact you by telephone two to three days prior to surgery. In the event that you have not heard from us by the day before surgery, please contact the pre-admission nurse at 425.899.5659.
During this interview, the nurse will review your health history, medications and supplements, and explain what to expect the day of your surgery. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have.
If any screening tests are needed, they will be scheduled prior to your surgery.
Help us prevent surgical site infections; read how, here.
If there is a possibility you may be pregnant, be sure to notify your surgeon and obstetrician in advance. Certain medications and anesthetics are potentially harmful to the developing fetus, especially during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.
Day Before Your Surgery
