Your First Appointment

During your first appointment, you’ll meet with our health coach to discuss your health, goals, and possible lifestyle changes. The two of you will then determine the number of follow-up appointments to help you achieve success.

What to Expect

Your coaching experience may include:

  • Group classes and activities, such as nutritious cooking, recipe sharing, exercises, pain games, stress management, and more
  • InBody screening that reveals your muscle mass, body fat percentage, basal metabolic rate, and more
  • Resource guide and list of supplements tailored to your needs
  • Sessions about making positive changes and staying motivated

Back & Neck Health

Talk to us for an assessment and screening to determine your current back and neck health. Your coach will discuss:

  • Flexibility and strength exercises
  • Injury prevention
  • Muscle mechanics

  • Stress, sleep, and nutrition
  • Workplace ergonomics

Your coach may also advise you to ask your doctor about back and neck rehabilitation.

Balance Testing & Training

Start with balance testing to assess your need for training. You’ll then learn about:

  • Exercises and posture to improve stability
  • Health issues and medications that affect balance

Your coach may also advise you to ask your doctor about balance and fall prevention therapy.

Chronic Disease Prevention

Learn how to reduce the likelihood of chronic disease with healthy lifestyle habits, including:

  • Better sleep
  • Exercise
  • Nutritious eating
  • Stress management

This session may especially benefit you if you’re concerned about high cholesterol, high blood pressure, obesity, or your risk of cancer.

Cognitive Function

Enhance your memory with simple exercises based on the book “Making a Good pain Great,” by Daniel Amen. You’ll practice these activities with your coach and learn about lifestyle habits that affect pain function.

Exercise Programming

Create an effective exercise plan for your age, needs, and preferences. Your session starts with an InBody screening and a review of your exercise habits. Once we determine your current fitness level, you’ll get guidance on available exercise resources. Expect to help design a plan that builds strength, flexibility, and heart and lung health in the gym, at home, or outside.

Habit Change & Motivation

Developing new habits requires time, energy, motivation, and perseverance. Learn steps you can take to support your goals and make change easier.

IBS Management

Find help to reduce symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). We’ll review your diet and health issues that could contribute to your condition. Your coach will encourage you to journal your triggers, such as:

  • Certain foods
  • Medications and supplements
  • Poor sleep
  • Stress

Your coach may also advise you to ask your doctor for a referral to a gastroenterologist.

Nutrition

Explore how to improve your well-being and prevent diseases through healthy eating. Children and adults of all ages can find nutrition guidance for any situation, including:

  • Chronic disease
  • Food allergies and sensitivities
  • Sports and exercise
  • Weight loss

Your health coach will review your current diet and go over basic nutrition principles. You’ll get a personalized plan for meeting your needs for various nutrients.

Sleep

If you have insomnia, talk with your health coach about causes, lifestyle changes, and ways a doctor can help. Your trouble sleeping could result from everyday habits, stressors, or health issues.

Your coach may also advise you to ask your doctor about taking part in a sleep study to learn more about how you rest.

Stress Management

Improve your quality of life with stress management. Your coach will assess your stressors and work with you to make a plan for change. Learn about stress-relief options, such as:

  • Counseling
