OB Ultrasonido

Una ecografía puede ayudar a usted y a su médico para conocer a su bebé antes de que él o ella Nazca. Tecnología de ultrasonido es útil en muchos campos de la medicina, pero especialmente beneficioso para las mujeres, especialmente cuando se esperaba un hijo. Que ultrasonido es también útil para mujeres que tienen otros problemas ginecológicos, tales como los fibromas uterinos, sangrado profuso o irregular o pólipos. Centro de salud de la mujer perenne se complace en ofrecer servicios de ultrasonido a nuestros pacientes en nuestra oficina durante el horario laboral normal.

Preguntas más frecuentes de ultrasonido

¿Qué es la ecografía y lo que puede mostrar acerca de mi embarazo?

El ultrasonido utiliza al mismo principio de sonar. Las ondas de sonido de la sonda de ultrasonido, (mucho más allá de la gama de audiencia), rebotan en el útero y su feto en desarrollo producen ecos que un equipo se convierte en imágenes detalladas.  

¿Es seguro el ultrasonido?

Ha habido una amplia evaluación de la seguridad del ultrasonido en el transcurso de los 15 años. No hay pruebas que ultrasonido diagnóstico cause un daño a la madre o el feto.

¿Qué tipos de exámenes existen?

  • Un sonograma básico o estándar proporciona información relativa a la ubicación de la placenta, posición fetal, los embarazos de gemelos, edad gestacional y posible presencia de malformación fetal.
  • Un sonograma completa o extensa es un examen más detallado proporcionar no sólo la información de la exploración básica, pero además, evaluación más específica para el crecimiento fetal o anomalías fetales.
  • Una ecografía vaginal, en el que un instrumento de ultrasonido específico, sobre el grosor de un tampón, se inserta en la vagina con frecuencia se utiliza para proporcionar vistas extremadamente detalladas del útero, ovarios o porciones del feto que son bajas en la pelvis. Esto puede utilizarse para ver la ubicación de un embarazo muy temprano o el latido del corazón, o para evaluar la placenta o el canal de parto. Al igual que con otros exámenes de ultrasonido, el procedimiento es seguro. Es por lo general menos incómodo que una prueba de Papanicolaou.

¿Does demostrar una ecografía normal que mi bebé no tendrá ninguna anomalía?

Mientras que un sonograma básica detectará muchas anormalidades, no es definitiva para malformaciones fetales. A pesar de una interpretación normal del procedimiento, algunos bebés pueden nacer con anomalías no identificadas por el examinador durante el estudio. Debe comprender que incluso con un sonograma completa, la sonografía certificada y el médico pueden todavía ser incapaces de encontrar anomalías fetales que más tarde se descubrió después del nacimiento. Por lo tanto, no debe considerarse como prueba absoluta de la ausencia de defectos fetales.
