Pregnancy Health & Wellness

These classes will give you information on how to be your healthiest best during your pregnancy, and supporting your baby’s growth and development inside your amazing, growing belly.


Fit4Baby

[Virtual class] This six-week series offers a total body interval workout adjusted to the various pregnancy phases of the attendees. Instruction includes cardio, strength training and flexibility exercises.

The class is taught by a certified Fit4Mom Prenatal and Postnatal Fitness Instructor.

Fee: $90 Available dates and online registration

Yoga for Pregnancy

[Virtual class] This six-week series will show you how yoga can strengthen your childbearing muscles, increase your flexibility during pregnancy and provide deep relaxation for lifelong health.

Classes are taught by a certified yoga instructor.

Fee: $100 Available dates and online registration

Pelvic Health Class

[Virtual class] This class will show you how to minimize pain during pregnancy and birth and optimize healing afterwards. It includes techniques to avoid future pelvic floor issues.

This class is for women only, and is taught by a women's health physical therapist.

Fee: $20 Available dates and online registration

Birth after Cesarean

[Online class] This class reviews the decision making process in choosing an elective repeat cesarean section or a trial of labor after cesarean (TOLAC). The class is available at your convenience by clicking on this link.

Warm Welcomes

NOTE: this is not being offered during COVID-19.

This three-part series, facilitated by labor nurses, is designed to connect you with other parents with similar due dates and introduce you to EvergreenHealth’s Family Maternity Center.

You will have a chance to ask questions, share stories and get to know your body and your baby in a whole new way.

Partner participation is encouraged.

First Trimester (up to 18 weeks)
This class will introduce you to the miracle of pregnancy in your first trimester.

We’ll discuss the development of mom and baby, healthy foods for pregnancy, prenatal blood work, ultrasound and other tests offered during your early weeks of pregnancy.

We’ll also suggest pregnancy “do’s and don’ts” to keep you and your baby healthy and safe.

Not offered during COVID-19

Second Trimester (16 – 28 weeks) You & Your Little Kicker
This class is called “Kickers” because you’re starting to feel your baby’s movements.

In this class we’ll discuss fetal growth and development, second trimester body changes and warning signs for which you should be alert.

You’ll meet other parents, also in their second trimester, and start discussing your plans and wishes for your baby’s birth.

Fee: $25/couple  Not offered during COVID-19

Third Trimester (28 – 40 weeks) Getting Ready For Baby
This class is the “nuts and bolts” of planning for your hospital stay and beyond - including the Top 10 things to do to get ready for baby.

You’ll get a tour of a labor room, see a short video and have a chance to ask questions about your birth plan.

Fee: $25/couple  Not offered during COVID-19
