Postpartum Appointment

Taking a new baby home can be both exciting and a little intimidating, especially for first-time parents.

Your postpartum care appointment will help you make the transition from the hospital to home easily and safely.

Your Appointment

When you leave the Family Maternity Center, you'll have a postpartum appointment scheduled for a few days after your discharge at the Postpartum Care Center.

Our nurse specialist will examine both you and your baby to make sure you are mending and thriving.

If a problem is identified, the nurse specialist will contact your or your baby's care provider right away.

Your Questions, Answered

This is also an opportunity to ask any questions that may have popped up since you were discharged.

Postpartum Care Center services are available to all families, whether they gave birth at EvergreenHealth or elsewhere.
