Hospitalists are physicians who care for you while you're a patient in the hospital, in partnership with your primary care provider or specialist.
The Benefit of Hospitalists
Because hospitalists are available 24/7, they're able to see you at any time and order tests, receive the results, coordinate with specialists and make treatment decisions around the clock.
Our obstetric hospitalists are available to help laboring women until their provider is available or be an extra pair of hands should a C-section be necessary.
The hospitalists keep your primary care provider or specialist informed of your condition and provide a care plan for discharge that includes any necessary follow-up care, home care, therapy or assistance from social services.
