Hospice for Veterans

As part of the We Honor Veterans program, our hospice team has received special training to help our military veterans toward a more peaceful ending.

We use respectful inquiry, compassionate listening and grateful acknowledgement to comfort patients with a history of military service and possibly physical or psychological trauma.

Above all, we thank them for their service to our country.

The We Honor Veterans program was developed by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs to improve the quality of care for our veterans.
