Neurological Classes and Support Groups

As you adjust to life with your new diagnosis, you and/or your family members might find it helpful to join a neurological class or support group.

Neurological support groups at EvergreenHealth are free online meetups that offer you the opportunity to hear from other people with your condition, learn about their coping strategies and lifestyle adaptations, and build community with people through shared experiences. All support groups are judgement-free and supportive, meant to empower you with new tools and connections.

EvergreenHealth also offers classes to help you learn new skills to make life with your neurological condition easier. These classes can help you build strength, find out about healthy foods for your condition and learn more about your diagnosis. Classes for both patients and family members/caregivers are available.

EvergreenHealth offers a wide variety of resources for patients and families experiencing a neurological condition. Located in the Neurological Care section of the Kirkland hospital, the EvergreenHealth Resource Center is one of the top sources of neurological information in the region, with a wealth of books, videos and other materials that you can check out or purchase. Our staff and website can also connect you with local wellness organizations that can offer support and help you adapt to your condition.
