Gait & Balance

Changes in gait (walking) and balance are common if you have a movement disorder. EvergreenHealth's Gait & Balance program is an integrated approach to various changes in movement to help minimize functional impact.

Our team treats multiple gait disorders, including:

  • Ataxia, the festinating and freezing associated with Parkinson's disease
  • Spastic gait often seen with MS after a stroke
  • Disorders associated with weakness

We treat you and also look at your environment at home and in the community to give you back control and reduce the risk of falls.
