The Booth Gardner Parkinson’s Care Center is conducting a prospective, cross-sectional, observational study to evaluate the nQ Medical software platform’s ability to assess fine motor performance from remote, natural typing data in individuals with early Parkinson’s Disease (PD). The software is designed specifically to aid clinicians in providing personal, individualized care.
Who may be eligible to participate?
Male or female subjects, age 40 years or older at time of PD diagnosis; must have diagnosis of PD for 10 years or less at screening. Other inclusion/exclusion criteria may apply.
What does participation involve?
As part of the study, eligible participants will download the nQ application to their personal computer with the study staff’s support. The software records timing information related to press and release of keys and does not record conversations or personally identifiable information. Participants will need to use their computer at least 15 minutes a day. Participants will also attend 4 in-clinic study visits and 1 phone visit. Study participation will last approximately 4 weeks.
