Bereavement Support Groups


Recognizing that each person and each loss is very individual, EvergreenHealth Hospice and Community Grief and Bereavement Services offer a variety of support groups to accommodate different grieving styles and circumstances.

Bereavement Support Groups

A six-week, two-hour support group for adults that provides a safe environment for those coping with the death of a loved one.

You will receive emotional and informational support, obtain new insights, discuss skills for coping and learn how to help yourself adjust to your loss.

Groups meet on six consecutive Tuesdays.

Jan. 15 - Feb. 19, 2019
Apr. 16 - May 21, 2019

General Grief and Loss - meets 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.   
Loss of a Spouse - meets 4 – 6 p.m. 

Suggested donation is $30.

Registration and assessment is required and open one month prior to the start of the group. Please call a bereavement coordinator at 425.899.1077.


Drop-In Support

This twice monthly support meeting for adults provides a safe environment for those coping with the death of a loved one.

With the support of peers, staff and volunteers, you will be encouraged to share about your loss and discuss coping strategies.

Group meets the first and third Wednesday of each month (there will be no meetings in July).

11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Creative Expressions of Grief

A six week, two hour support group for those who have experienced the death of a loved one and wish to creatively explore mourning and life changes.

This support group appeals to those who process grief through activities and creative outlets better than with traditional talk-therapy approaches.

No previous art or writing experience necessary! All materials are included.

Group resumes in Spring 2019, dates to be announced.
