Personal Information

I decided to become a doctor to help people, and every day I feel blessed to have that opportunity. I am grateful to many of my patients who have shared their lives with me during their most difficult times.
I chose my field because of my interest in the musculoskeletal system and biomechanical function of the human body. Rehabilitation and restoring patients' function is very gratifying.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and my three energetic children. Our family food of choice is sushi! My hobbies include guitar, karaoke, golf, snowboarding and cheering for our local sports teams.

Community Involvement

I enjoy being involved in the community. I volunteer to provide medical care at local sports events such as local high school football games and soccer tournaments.
I also volunteer through a local church and our family supports charities such as Red Cross and Charity Water.

Dr. Lee is the one of the best doctors I have ever been treated by in my 84 years.

Very kind and understanding of the pain I experience. Didn't dismiss my experience, while also educating me about possible pain sources or brain interpreting things as pain. Friendly, professional, efficient, seemed knowledgeable and confident. The followup from his MA/nurse (?) was prompt and thorough.

I felt that I didn't know enough about my condition to ask informative questions. He did try to help me but never said why I was experiencing this condition nor what caused my condition. He suggested a steroid injection. Then told me all about the side effects and that it doesn't always work and if it does work doesn't help for long. Then suggested P.T.

He explained my treatment options, that he and I had discussed in the past, as if I were hearing it for the first time. I first broke my back more than 30 years ago, I am not new to severe back pain, and as an educated man, I understand the complexity of my medical conditions. I tried to schedule treatment as we had planned, but I was not able to see the doctor during my spasms, and was already improving by the time I could get in to see him. He then Informed me of the treatment options, that we had already discussed, as if they were new information, and not the plan we had in place already. I like Dr. Lee, and trust him, but this experience made me feel "invisible" and not remembered by the doctor.

My daughter was with me and to be able to hear what Dr Lee was saying I don't have just ups and downs it's a constant thing with this pain and since my hip surgery which my hip doesn't hurt it's my back and I just felt I didn't get what I was coming there I could have done it on a zoom appointment for that matter I did want him to look at me and he did not feel like my hump was that bad on my back well I went from almost 5 ft 8 to 5 ft 4 is what they have me down at they did not take my weight when I was there or my blood pressure maybe that's not a primary thing that they do I don't know I just was disappointed but Dr Lee gave me a hug and I cried a little and me and my daughter will continue to keep looking for someone that would be able to help me manage my chronic pain so that I can live a life and not be stuck at home doing nothing constantly I just don't think that some doctors they think it's in your head and I'm hoping he's not like that this has been an ongoing problem since my hip surgery he did not look up the type of hip surgery that I had and he does not understand why I cannot bring it above 90 that bothered me cuz I have been told over and over from the surgeon's office and the surgeon that did my surgery that I cannot do this so when people don't believe me I think he should have looked it up maybe maybe got in contact with my surgeon I don't know I just really was a bit disappointed. I thank him for his time and he has helped me with my sacreditic pain when I've had it and I know he's a good doctor but obviously for this type of what I'm going through he's not the doctor that I need thank you

He always takes a moment to ask how I'm doing or what have I been up to. It could be a year since I last saw him but he'll ask how did your deck project go or how was your fishing trip? He actively listens and remembers which alwyas surprises me cuz he has so many patients.
