Personal Information

I grew up in the Midwest, then moved to New York to pursue medicine and stayed there for the duration of my training. My time in New York gave me the privilege to interact with people from all different racial and socioeconomic backgrounds. And it is this connection that truly draws me to practice medicine. I love meeting new people, talking with them, and hearing about their experiences and perspectives.
In my spare time, I enjoy running, hiking, and trying new restaurants.

I am 92 years of age. Dr. Zhou is one of the most thorough, kind, knowlegable doctors I have ever seen.Her nurses are respectful and thoughtful. Her office responses on MyChart are always received within 24 hours and are helpful. I have recommended her to friends/family.

She explained the severity of my case. She urgently added me to get all the tests I needed which is surprising for Cardio Dept. Really appreciate squeezing me in and trying her best to accommodate me. Also, she explained to me about the importance of my sleep apnea related to my heart as I stopped wearing cpap. She made me re-think and see sleep doctor. I appreciate that.

The Doctor was thorough about my Dad's pacemaker and next steps for replacing its battery. His dementia is advanced but she was patient still. She spoke to us as well as him. Thank you for the kindness and respect. A very good experience overall.
