Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Prior to obtaining her ARNP license, Sarah Dumke worked as a registered nurse on a fast paced high-acuity adult medicine floor at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City. Since 2000, she has provided primary care services as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Her experience includes working in a community health center for the underserved and then at the University of California San Francisco Women's Health Center. At UCSF, she provided preventive care to male and female adults of diverse backgrounds while helping to manage and coordinate their acute and chronic illnesses.
I am a Family Nurse Practitioner who can provide the full range of adult primary care services including prevention and screenings, acute and chronic illness management and coordination.
Within women's health, I can provide Pap and STD screening, breast evaluations, assist with vaginal and pelvic complaints, menopause, contraceptive management, prenatal counseling and the initial work up for infertility among others.
I work closely with the Obstetric/Gynecologic providers in our practice who can assist you when and if you need further gynecologic evaluation or procedures.
Philosophy of Care
I care deeply about helping you understand your overall health, your medical conditions and choices you have in managing your health. I believe in informed decision making and partnering so that we can then create realistic and holistic health goals that fit your life.
I am a firm believer in evidenced-based medicine, comprehensive primary healthcare and prevention. I take great pleasure in collaborating and I am always learning from the wisdom of my colleagues and patients.
