Philosophy of Care

Whether you are a 16-year-old soccer player, a 33-year-old marathon runner, a 50-year old who enjoys walking, or a 65-year-old who wants to throw the ball with your grandkids, I will take the time to sit down with you to figure out why you are having trouble doing the things you want to be doing, and together we will come up with the best solution for you.
Each patient is different and I believe it is my job to get to know you, listen to your concerns, understand your expectations, and provide you with the best surgical and non-surgical options for getting you back to being active and enjoying your life.

Personal Information

I chose to become an orthopedic surgeon because of my desire to help patients return to their active lifestyles. I have always had an interest in sports, and orthopedic surgery has allowed me to apply this in my professional life by working with athletes of all ages and walks of life.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. We love the outdoors and all the Pacific Northwest has to offer, particularly hiking, snow skiing and water skiing.  I am also an avid runner.

Community Involvement

I am involved in providing on-site medical coverage for the Woodinville High School football team every fall.
