Philosophy of Care

My philosophy is to treat you with respect and to help educate you about the conditions for which you are being treated; as well as the treatment options for those conditions. I work closely with our Pulmonary, Thoracic, and Sleep Physicians to bring a truly team approach to our pulmonary patients care.

Personal Information

I'm from a ranching and veterinary medicine family in Western Montana. I grew up knowing that I wanted to work in "human medicine".
I became a Registered Respiratory Therapist and work almost exclusively in the adult critical care unit. It was here that I knew I wanted to continue to advance my career in health care.
I met my wife in physician assistant school in Montana. We took our first jobs together in her home town in rural Wisconsin. We knew we both wanted to return to the Pacific Northwest and when the opportunity presented its self we jumped and moved to Kirkland.
We enjoy boating on Lake Washington and The Sound, hiking in the Cascades, and visiting the many farmers markets throughout the summer. We continue to help out, when we can, on the family ranch.

Provider prescribed Rx for thrush. Follow up with ENT showed I did not have thrush. I did not take the Rx as I wanted a 2nd opinion from EMT.
