Dr. Rohan Hattiangadi is a board-certified OB/GYN who has completed specialized fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. His practice is focused on caring for patients suffering from a multitude of gynecologic ailments including abnormal uterine bleeding, especially due to uterine fibroids or adenomyosis, endometriosis and painful menstrual periods, chronic pelvic pain, and uterine prolapse.
Dr. Hattiangadi offers a variety of minimally invasive surgical approaches including laparoscopy, robot-assisted surgery with the DaVinci robot, and vaginal surgery.

Personal Information

I am a second-generation Indian American, born and raised in Southern California. Prior to starting my medical training, I worked as a software engineer in Redmond. Today, I use my advanced medical/surgical training and love for technology to perform complex gynecologic procedures with the assistance of the DaVinci robot.
I live in Bothell with my wife and daughter. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, gardening, exercising and cooking.

I was exceptionally impressed with my experience with Dr. Hattiangadi. When I was first referred to him, he came to the appointment having already read what parts of my medical records were available to him. He seemed genuinely prepared to meet with me- he asked a lot of specific questions, took his time educating me, and presented me with options without pressuring me to make a decision. I ended up having surgery with him, which I was very nervous about although I felt well prepared by him and his nursing staff. On the day, he was so calm and straightforward, and the whole surgical team was warm, professional, and made me feel like I was in safe hands. I had a small issue after surgery, and Dr. Hattiangadi was clear about steps forward to resolve it. Throughout, I feel like Dr. Hattiangadi took me seriously and wanted to work with me to address my health issues. The time he took to educate me made me feel more confident about the decisions I made and more a part of my own care. I never felt dismissed or disregarded. I would highly, highly recommend Dr. Hattiangadi and his office to others.

Dr. Hattiangadi dealt with my (many) questions and concerns with a grace and professionalism I've only ever seen once with my pregnancy in 2009-2010. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Hattiangadi's help and the speed and care that game with it!

This provider showed me the images from my MRI and explained what I was looking at which helped me make a decision about my treatment. He let me know that I could change my mind at anytime and he would be happy to schedule the procedure of my choice. He made it clear that he was supportive of any of the 3 choices presented. And he made it clear what I should do if symptoms reappeared. Overall, I felt listened to and my questions were addressed with treatment options clearly explained.

Truly one of the first providers to listen to me and show concern for my symptoms/quality of life. I felt respected and like an adult capable of making decisions for myself (which has not been the case with other providers).

Dr. Hattiangadi has provided above and beyond exceptional care and courtesy. He is extremely knowledgeable and skilled and took the time to explain possible treatment to me. He also showed great respect and compassion as a provider for my condition and also for my health goals and health wishes, especially with my advanced directive. And even providing me with treatment, surgery, and care at a time that is convenient and helpful for me. I Sincerely appreciate all of the time, respect, kind care, attention, and expertise him and his office have showed me as a patient.

The doctor had no knowledge of my condition, had not reviewed any information in my referral and told me he wasn't even able to log into the computer in the room we were in.
