Experience

Dr. Robin deRegt has more than 30 years of experience in high risk obstetrical care and high tech ultrasound. Dr. deRegt works as a consultant to OB/GYNs or can be the primary obstetrical provider for highly complicated pregnancies. 
Her special expertise includes working with families at high risk for preterm birth, pregnancies with twins and triplets, families with multiple needs, and those concerned about nutrition and exercise.

Philosophy of Care

I enjoy working with families to educate them about their pregnancies and to help them optimize their own and their baby's health. Many of our patients have complicated medical histories so we work together to make a sometimes difficult situation better. It is empowering for women to understand their health conditions so that they can have tools to best care for themselves.

Personal Information

I grew up in New York and have lived in the Northwest since 2001 so I feel I understand both East and West coast mentality. Because of my upbringing, I tend to be very informative and try to develop a relationship with my patients based upon trust and understanding of a family's unique circumstances. I try to have a positive view on life, even in the face of difficult circumstances. 
I am an avid outdoors person loving deep powder skiing and hiking the Wonderland Trail. 
I cherish my three children and my husband who have enriched my life tremendously. 
I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with families during their pregnancies so I find my job tremendously rewarding.

Community Involvement

I am very involved with Brown University which is where I received my Undergraduate and Medical Degrees. I coordinate the interviewers for Seattle seniors applying to Brown and I am on the Brown Alumni Medical Board which works with current medical students to enrich their medical school experience.  
I am a former president of the Washington State Obstetrical Association so I am committed to the education of other providers in the community.

This provider was very pleasant & friendly; however, our previous providers were rushed, insensitive & vague.

I think the provider came in to discuss my ultrasound results. The interaction was short & largely unmemorable.

I think she need to review a patients history. Twice I was asked if i had a miscarriage. Not well informed
