I have a strong passion for medicine. I have had opportunities to train and practice medicine in three different countries and get to know great people from different backgrounds. These experiences have helped me shape my career and do my best as a physician.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, arts and crafts (especially beading and jewelry making). I love living in Pacific Northwest with its abundant natural beauty.

Dr. Poornima Krishnaiah Is an exceptional physician. She listens carefully to my needs, expectations and wants and provides me with excellent healthcare. She takes the time to patiently explain the diagnosis and suggests a course of action why has involved referrals to specialists. My entire family is seen by Dr. Krishnaiah. It's a good feeling to know that I'm in the hands of a great physician (Dr. Poornima Krishnaiah. I am very grateful!

She always seems tired, frustrated, and defensive when I bring up concerns regarding my body and my health, especially mental health. She provides little to no empathy-every appointment results in her coldly looking up medication interactions on Google without going the extra mile to ask about my physical well-being, how I'm reacting to the medications, or what more she can be doing to help me. This visit, I mentioned concerns about my thyroid because my levels seemed low, but rather than explain anything in depth to me, or offer assurance, she snapped "I would have told you if something was wrong." I will be searching for a new PCP.

Dr. Krishnaiah is the very best doctor I have had in my life. She treats patients as well as she would want a doctor to care for her own family members. She is thorough in her care, kind and courteous. She evaluates concerns carefully, and ensures appropriate referrals and treatments happen promptly. She always remembers details about me. She enters the room extremely well prepared, having checked notes the aide collected, and addresses concerns methodically, so nothing important gets overlooked. She does NOT ever waste time asking me the same questions I already told the aide, and addresses those questions right away, so my appointment time is always used very efficiently. I wish more doctors were as excellent as Dr. Krishnaiah. Please do whatever you can to keep Dr. Krishnaiah at Evergreen. She is everything a best doctor could possibly be. Thank you for having her as part of the Evergreen medical community.

Dr. Krishnaiah is very confident. She also has a lot of pride. I found it difficult to work with her. She was dismissive to my requests. I am very tolerant of mistakes being made. What I am most upset about is the doctor's dismissive attitude towards me.
