Philosophy of Care

My philosophy of care is grounded in compassion, establishing trust, and a holistic approach of caring for the whole person and finding a treatment plan that works best for each individual person. My goal is to honor my patients' trust by providing evidence-based, empathetic, and individualized care that addresses both the physical and emotional aspects of cardiovascular health. I strive to empower patients through education and shared decision-making and am committed to building a relationship with my patients so that they feel as though they have as much of a voice in their treatment as I do and they feel heard, respected, and supported. I am also an ally to our LGBTQ+ community and provide a safe space for all of my patients to discuss their unique health care needs.

Personal Information

I was born and raised in Issaquah, WA and have spent most of my life in the greater Seattle area. I moved away for PA school but was eager to come back to this area. Outside of work, my interests include hiking, skiing, camping, playing soccer, and spending time with my family, both immediate and extended. All these things are what brought me back to the PNW and I am so happy to be back home.
