Dr. Lora Plaskon's expertise is in helping women deal with recurrent bowel, bladder, and sexual issues related to pelvic floor prolapse, or laxity in the vaginal tissues that can occur with childbirth and aging. She offers both nonsurgical options and state-of-the-art surgical repair.
Dr. Plaskon has helped women through difficult cases of complex pelvic reconstruction and "salvage" surgeries to re-do or undo failed surgeries. She has done more than 1000 cases of successful mesh- graft implants, and helps women with vaginal mesh removal or scar revisions.

Dr. Plaskon has been excellent in llistening to my problem, explanation, options, through the surgery in March and the followup. This appointment was for a potential problem that happened, but she put my mind at ease. Very gentle and reassuring. I felt confident when I left.

I drove a long way to see Dr Plaskon because she is so kind and attentive and I trust her completely. She sits face to face with me, not with a computer between us. She has reviewed my history before she comes in the room, so is spot on with understanding my past issues and ready to listen to the latest. She makes it easy to confide my troubles to her, understands my condition, and comes up with some ideas to help. I feel such relief after I talk to her--it's such a weight off me to be able to talk to one who understands, sympathizes, and helps with solutions.

I LOVE Dr. Lora Plaskon! She made me feel heard and I felt like I was finally going to be able to get things taken care of in a way that I felt comfortable proceeding with. She listened, explained everything, and I felt confident after our very first appointment that she was the best doctor for these procedures. And I was right! Can't say enough good about her.

Dr. Plaskon is excellent. Patient has cognitive issues. Dr. Plaskon is patient, takes time with the patient explains things carefully and repeats explanations as needed. Gives the patient respect and includes her in all plans and decisions.

When I came in for my 6-week checkup I was still having pain but the provider explained all the things that she did. Prescribed some medicine. I felt very assured after that visit. I am doing so much better now.
