The provider directed all questions, conversation and eye contact towards my mom instead of talking to me, the patient. As I am an adult, this was puzzling to me. If I replied to a question directly, the response was ignored.

July Pan, ARNP is exceptional. 1st visit she came in, was very personable asked me a ton of questions before she even looked at my wound. The whole time she was looking at my wound she lightly was rubbing the top of my leg and reassuring she was going to help! It calmed me right down as by her touching me gently it made me feel acknowledged that I had been through a lot and that she was giving me hope and trust her. She explained everything really well and I understood what was going on with my wound and why. She is exceptional!!
