Philosophy of Care

I am passionate about caring for women of all ages, from educating a 10 year-old about puberty to counseling a woman entering menopause. I've cared for several generations of women in the same family and enjoy watching my patients mature from adolescent to teenage years to eventually starting a family of their own.
I listen to my patients to understand their questions and needs. Regardless of the situation, I think all women deserve to understand what health care options are available, so she can make informed decisions about what care is best for her.

Personal Information

I am an East Coast native, born and raised in New York City. When I moved to Seattle, I not only was introduced to the world of technology, but also met my husband here. Together we have two boys and live in Redmond, where my sons are very active in sports.
When I'm not in the office or at the hospital, you will find me at the baseball or soccer fields, or the basketball court supporting my kids. I also enjoy yoga, hiking and cooking with my family.

Dr Wang was really busy, and had managed to sneak me in after some difficult scheduling conflicts. It was a very quick visit- but I feel like she always listens to me and answers even my silliest questions in a really clear and understandable way. She treats me like a person. I appreciate that she Is very confident and firm in her approach to treating patients. This Is my 2nd pregnancy seeing her and I feel like I know what the plan Is. She is a very good doctor.

I don't feel that the provider thoroughly listened to me. Eye contact while asking questions and expressing my concerns would have been appreciated. Provider made comments about my body and weight that I feel were unnecessary and discouraging.
