Philosophy of Care

I am passionate about caring for women of all ages, from educating a 10 year-old about puberty to counseling a woman entering menopause. I've cared for several generations of women in the same family and enjoy watching my patients mature from adolescent to teenage years to eventually starting a family of their own.
I listen to my patients to understand their questions and needs. Regardless of the situation, I think all women deserve to understand what health care options are available, so she can make informed decisions about what care is best for her.

Personal Information

I am an East Coast native, born and raised in New York City. When I moved to Seattle, I not only was introduced to the world of technology, but also met my husband here. Together we have two boys and live in Redmond, where my sons are very active in sports.
When I'm not in the office or at the hospital, you will find me at the baseball or soccer fields, or the basketball court supporting my kids. I also enjoy yoga, hiking and cooking with my family.

Hard to get any sort of answer about the decision to receive the COVID vaccine while pregnant other than the cookie cutter 'they recommend you get it' speech. It hasn't been a personal experience, I feel like one of many pregnant women they are trying to get in and then out of there to hit volume.

Dr. Wang is simply the best! I've been her patient for a few years now and I can't say enough wonderful things about her. She makes me feel like I'mher only patient and that she is truly invested in my well-being.

I felt like the provider was listening yet not as attentive as I would like. For example, I told her I experienced some pelvic pains that I thought may be related to my weekend activities when my husband and I were clearing a bedroom for the soon to be nursery. I clearly told her I wasn't moving heavy boxes or any Boxes for that matter, yet she put on my provider notes from the appt that I was moving boxes. That was annoying and frustrating, it made me think she wasn't listening. She talks and explains everything so fast. She may have delivered numerous amounts of babies, sees several patients a day but this is MY first pregnancy; so It is new to me. I feel she could be more accommodating.

She's a very no-news is good news doctor. I don't get a lot of updates but she's great at answering questions and explaining things, like taking more supplements & why.

My only hesitation is the office end. It took an extra week to schedule induction because I had to call office, FMC, scheduling multiple times to coordinate order.
