Seemed to be in a hurry.

So many good doctors in the area. Just not impressed compared to our other chosen providers -

Dr. Heydt was only minimally interested in discussing preventative care - is much better when surgery is required -

I wanted to get my tonsil stone removed/ cleaned. But the provider said, it's not possible and the only solution is tonsillectomy. Where was I have heard others getting it removed/cleaned by their ENT.

This doctor was really dismissive. When I told her how my sinuses were feeling she actually said "I've never heard of that", as if I was lying. She did things like that several times. Luckily I only had a sinus infection so now it is resolved and I don't have to go back. If I did, I would be looking for another ENT.

I have no doubt regarding Dr Heydt's medical ability but feel that her communication skills could be improved. She never provided a clear explanation of the condition for which she was treating me, nor did she explain the relatively high Impact of the surgery, or the length of recovery time I should expect. It's been three weeks and I have still not fully recovered.

I have never experienced such a rushed (<5 mins) & impersonal visit! The doctor seemed like she didn't want to examine me, ask any questions or offer any explanations and couldn't wait to get out of the room. Neither she nor the MA looked at my intake questionnaire which was still sitting on my lap when I left the appointment. I described parotid gland swelling, she said that was nothing to be worried about. I said I had nasal congestion/nosebleeds and she just said she'd write out a Rx. For what & why I wondered? On the way out, I complained to the front office staff, who were very nice. I subsequently got a call saying that the doctor had a bad back and she'd cancelled patients for the rest of the day. Aha - perhaps that explained her manner. Why didn't she just tell me she wasn't feeling well? I would have understood/sympathized and gladly rescheduled. Instead, my blood was boiling from feeling so disrespected and not heard or valued as a patient.

Possible miscommunication. Expected nasal spray prescription. Nothing at my pharmacy.

Wasn't friendly but wasn't horrible. Just didn't seem interested in my health. Just brushed me off when CT didn't show her anything. Unwilling to explore further just refer me somewhere else without truly listening. Your doctors must be overworked.

Rude, condescending, abrupt, got up and left the room, door open. So I left.

I was told by the provider she will call me with the results and not to call her. That phone call never made it to me.
