I really appreciate the fact that he is a "preventative" physician. I would rather prevent a disease than have to deal with injuries or crisis medical intervention. It is nice to have a doctor who is aligned with my values in this area.

Dr. Talavera noticed my mom's prescription strength and when she mentioned feeling weak the doctor adjusted her prescription to help reduce her feeling of weakness! So glad he caught the prescription level issue and made the adjustment! Dr. Talavera listens carefully and shows such kindness and support.

Dr. Talavera listens to any concerns I have and answers all my questions in terms I can understand, listens to my opinion and gives me his opinion on any procedure we might consider. To me and my husband (also his patient) he is a God's sent and the best doctor we could have found !!!!!

Dr. Talavera has been our cardiologist since we moved to Washington 6 years ago. His care for his patients is unequaled over many years of being a patient. He listens extremely well and his responses show his expertise and his heart. I simply don't know any other doctors who are as genuinely kind.

I felt blessed to be seen by Dr Talavera. His knowledge was current; he was paying attention to my concerns, and I felt expertly guided in the treatment path I needed to take. He did not exhibit "God syndrome" in the least, nor was he deferential: a perfect balance of knowledge and empathy, coupled with decisive direction on the best path to take.
