As a resident at one of the larger hospitals in Utah, Dr. Christopher Marshall had the responsibility to manage patients at every level in the hospital including ICU, post-surgical, pediatrics, newborn babies and even laboring mothers.
In his clinic, he had the privilege of seeing his patients - babies he had delivered days or years earlier, young scouts as they prepared for camp, expectant mothers and geriatric patients - all of whom he was honored to say called him their physician.

Personal Information

Ever since I was a child I either wanted to be either a fighter pilot, a police officer or a physician, and eventually settled on becoming a doctor. But following my graduation from Western Washington University, I began a career as a software developer.
After working for a number of years and even starting my own company I woke up one day and realized that I wasn't anywhere close to what I wanted to be when I grew up. So I returned to school and began a new path that took me to where I am today.
There isn't a single facet of medicine I don't enjoy, and as such, I ultimately decided to go into Family Medicine. My nontraditional medical background offers me a sometimes unique perspective of medicine and perhaps also into the lives of my patients.

Provider made a joke that indicated that he did not remember that our child is adopted, and not our biological child. The joke was uncomfortable for other reasons too.

This visit was somewhat different as it happened on a day when the entire Evergreen system was down. So there was no access to my records and limited information available at the time of the appointment. However, Dr. Marshall followed through with sending us information that we had discussed.

I believe because Dr. Marshall was running behind schedule, my appt was changed from seeing him to just seeing his assistant. So I never saw or spoke with Dr. Marshall.

Dr. Marshall does an excellent job as regards taking care of my health concerns.

discussion of proposed treatment. The vaccination information was limited and by hospital policy not helpful. " not my job, it is the other guy" or "go to a website that didn't help at all."if patients identity and time of requested information led to a preliminary list that would be used to contact patient when appointments could made when vaccine dose become available and if patient was still looking for a scheduled appointment then make an appointment then. Then Evergreen is making a service link for patient and vaccine in a very controlled and efficient manner. The way you currently provide no helpful progress is disappointing to me. I feel forced to search for such a listing arrangement. Evergreen has handicapped its employees by forced and helpless referral.

Dr Marshall is always helpful, friendly and thorough. His compassion and knowledge makes you feel like you are his only patient. He is quick to explain things in easy to understand terms and offer up suggestions. I'm glad he is my primary care physician and would highly recommend him to others.
