I love medicine for the impact it allows me in touching people's lives. As a surgeon I am incredibly privileged to be able to walk with patients through some of the hardest and most joyous times.
Outside of the hospital, I enjoy hiking, skiing and sailing in the Puget Sound area with my husband and two boys.
My passion for sports centers around soccer, volleyball and football.

Could have described operation in more detail recovery would be better for me if I had watched video about how to sit up in bed afterwards and when to take off girdle & when it is OK to take a bath.
