I'm so sorry she's leaving. She's one of the best doctor's I ever had the pleasure of working with. I will definitely miss her as my primary physician.

very good

Overall good experience. However since I was seeing this provider for the first time, I like when they introduce themselves and who they are as they walk into the room, which they didn't do.

I was disappointed to learn that Dr. David is leaving the practice to open her own office, specializing in weight management for her patients. This is her passion. But the administrative overhead within Evergreen prevent her from thinking about this specialty within EvergreenHealth. Surely weight management from a primary care physician's perspective should be highly valued and Evergreen should try to keep her!

I had a note card with me where I had written a few notes to myself of things I wanted to discuss with the provider. The first thing she said when she entered the exam room was, "oh, did you have any questions for me? We won't have time for that." She then proceeded to tell me that I was her second new patient for the day and she wasn't sure why they continue to schedule new patients with her when she was leaving the practice in June. I felt because of that she was rushed, disengaged and my appointment was a total waste. She only hesitantly answered my questions when I pressed. I sprained my ankle 2 months ago and her response was to hand me a print out on ankle injuries with extremely basic information which I had already Googled two months ago. Web MD was more helpful. I'm not upset that she's leaving. It seems like an unfortunate error, but one I can overlook. But a good provider would have said, even though we aren't going to have a long-term relationship, I am invested in your care. I'm so glad you came to this clinic and I'm going to make sure you are in good hands with one of my colleagues. I'm going to make sure the doctor you switch to has all the records from our conversation today so they can pick up where I left out. Instead I felt like she was checked out and was doing the absolute bare minimum she had to. I feel bad for her because I could tell she really did feel badly and awkwardly that I was scheduled with her, but I thought she handled it very poorly and as a result I lacked confidence in her care. I'm really having difficulty deciding if I should give this clinic a second chance and see a new provider.

She isn't going to be practicing here anymore so I can't refer anyone to her. She is a great doc. Wish she could have been my new PCP but fate would not allow.
