Personal Information

I grew up on the east coast, but I have been in the Seattle area since 2009.
I have two young children and enjoy playing outdoors with them in my free time. I also enjoy reading novels and watching a bit of reality TV every now and again.

Knowledgable physician. However, abrupt, no personal greeting, robotic, and didn't seem to want to be there. Perhaps, she was just having a bad day. Her assistant was the exact opposite in his demeanor.

This visit was not with my PCP (who was out of the office that day). My complaint was in regard to dizziness, together with several other mild symptoms. The doctor took me through various movements, etc to ascertain the most likely cause, and concluded that it was due to fluid in my inner ear. As I had experienced this once before (approx. 6 years ago), I took that at face value. The only instructions were to employ the Epley maneuver and take an analgesic as needed.

I love Dr. Ebersol! She remembers facts about me outside of my medical history and it makes me feel like she truly cares about me as a person, not just the medicine side of her job.

Needs to inform patient clearly when blood tests are fasting or not.

I was somewhat disappointed in the lack of friendliness/concern the provider had, especially because this was my first visit as a new patient. She was very matter-of-fact, hurried, and didn't make eye contact. She seemed knowledgeable, but very clinical and unsmiling. Granted, I didn't have huge health concerns, but I'd like to feel that if I do there would be a higher level of caring and deeper listening. It could have just been a busy day for the provider...

For only coming in for annual visits and severe heart disease in family, wish she ordered a few more blood tests to address this when I ask i.e. CRP, A1C.

I was very disappointed as my biggest concern was elevated cholesterol level, and family history of heart surgery. the doc spend time with me on this but then the blood test came in and somehow my lipid profile was not done, the doc did not even notice that and I was told that all is good with my blood work. upon repeated follow up I was told to come in again for the blood work. this was quite disappointing as I felt my doc was not at all invested in my care and I have to plan again to go fasting despite having planned for this on the previous visit. also not sure if I'll be asked to pay out of pocket again.
