The DXA (or densitometry) scan helps diagnose early risk for osteoporosis through a non-invasive and painless scan of the hip and lower spine.
The test is more sensitive than ordinary x-ray and can diagnose bone loss at an earlier stage, preventing increased bone loss.
A DXA scan is recommended for all women age 50 and older.
DXA scanning is available at two convenient locations. Call 425.899.2831 to schedule an appointment.
