I want to be your healthcare partner, the one you think of anytime you need healthcare. I will help you to set health goals, answer your healthcare questions and I will work with you to understand the available options so that we can make the best decisions together. I will also provide you with tools to help you learn more about how to stay healthy and connect you with specialists when you need them.
I've always wanted to be a family doctor because I love the idea of helping people solve the problems that are keeping them from enjoying life. I like connecting with people to build up a trustworthy relationship. My wife and I raised two sons and we like to spend time working in the garden, cooking and discovering new places to eat. We still find time for a round of golf with friends.

Reviewed on October 11, 2018 I've been seeing Dr. Chan for 5 years or so, and in the past 9 months or so I've had an old back injury pop up again. He's been extremely helpful in explaining the issue, referring me to specialists and ordering imaging, and generally reassuring me. I work in a fairly high pressure profession, and often I don't have the luxury of being out of commission with severe back pain, especially after flying. He always takes my concerns seriously, and treats the pain instead of recommending I take Ibuprofen and rest, which does help but not when I immediately re-injure myself.
Reviewed on September 10, 2018 dr Chan brought up the fda's position change on long term use of omeprezol so I'm changing how I take that and recommended a shingles vaccination so I'm following up on that as well. like I said I both trust him and feel like he is concerned about my best interests
