Dr. William McKee has more than 30 years of experience in family practice and geriatric medicine, and has also taught in a family practice program. In addition to his private practice, Dr. McKee regularly sees patients in a nursing home, managing both rehabilitation and long term care patients.
I try to approach the practice of medicine from a holistic perspective. All medical issues occur in a continuum of pathophysiology, lifestyle, life stage, psychological, family and social support and general belief systems. I strive to approach clinical situations by taking all of these into account, and have as much input from the patient and family as possible.
My wife and I are both musicians and play in old time jazz bands, mostly for retirement centers. I play guitar, upright bass and jazz tuba. We also enjoy sea kayaking, tandem bicycling, cross-country skiing and going to the opera. I am also a budding woodworker and am trying to build a violin.

Reviewed on August 8, 2019 Dr McKee was extremely attentive and spent a lot of time talking to me as a new patient coming in with several major health issues.
Reviewed on July 15, 2019 I always have a good experience going to Evergreen especially when I see Dr. McKee. The reason I answered that no one followed up on my lab results was because i use the Navigator's portal. Dr. McKee communicates with me about the results on that site.
